of Jon Untersander

Jon Untersander is a 25 year old actor. He has lived in London for almost five years. He attended acting school at Chichester College. BTEC Level 3 National Foundation Diploma in Performing Arts (Acting) (QCF) and went on to study at the Identity School of Acting (professional level). He speaks fluent English, Swiss German, and standard German, as well as a little French (three-month language stay in Montpellier). Jon is currently in Basel/Switzerland, studying a sort of an expression dance called Eurythmie by Rudolf Steiner and is acting in Theaterplays on the side. 

He has recently appeard in (2024 - 2026):

The Friedenstragödie by Albert Steffen as the German Soldier (guest performance at the Goetheanum)

The Michaelifeier performing one epic and one lyrical speech by Novalis (Goetheanum)

The Mystery Drama part 3 by Rudolf Steiner as Capesius (lead role)

The Feature Film "Time rewind"  as young Sean (supporting lead role) Starring: Tim Cullingworth Hudson, Anne Fraser and Oliver Mason. Written and directed by Lincoln Fenner. The movie went on to win 32 out of 42 nominations including Jon Untersander winning best supporting actor at The World Premiere Film Awards  - Trailer

"The Spitfire Club" A theatre play by the Alfie James Production. A story about a 10 year old child during the Second World War.

2017

The ZHDK short film "Quite Land Good People" directed by Johannes Bachmann as Luca (Lead role). The film went on to win the People's Choice Award at the Max Ophüls Festival and it got into the student Oscar finals in Hollywood where the film was reviewd by composed seasoned Hollywood professionals, including Academy members, directors, and producers such as Casting Director April Webster

Upcoming Projects:

• Soon Jon will be having his Feature Film debut characterizing the part of young Sean in the upcoming feature film "Time Rewind" by the Australian Director and Writer Lincoln Fenner.

• He also will be starring as Norman in the play "The Spitfire Club" by the award winning director Alfie James.

• Jon is currently part of the Identity Youth Theatre in which they are putting together a devised theatre peace about young offenders. The play will be published in Autumn.
